The story
The android has her rival's face. It is not an android.
Reese Calder orders a custom companion with the face of Nolan Vance, the spoiled lifelong rival who has been maddening her for years. By day 006 cooks and cleans and kneels when she tells him to. By night he breaks every command she gives and makes her forget what he is meant to be. Then the company texts to say her companion has not shipped yet. Nolan calls it a prank, Miles calls it suicide, and Reese finds out anyway, which leaves the liar still on his knees.
