The story
Dumped on her birthday, engaged to a crime boss.
Mia's college boyfriend walks out on her on her birthday, and she answers it by proposing to the first man in front of her. Carson is charming, and he runs the Moretti crime family, which makes the whole thing a spectacularly bad escape plan. It becomes something real anyway. Her ex is not letting go though, and he is jealous enough to come after the life she is building.
