The story
She lost her husband and her baby.
Vivienne has lost both her husband and her child, and what is left of her runs on revenge and very little else. Killing the woman she blames would be over far too quickly to satisfy anything. So she decides to take that woman's husband instead, and to make sure she is watching while it happens.
