The story

Taylor got into MIT out of rural poverty, and her father and brother destroyed the letter and sold her to a rich old man for the cash. Her mother and little sister got her out, and the cost of escaping was losing them both. Seven years later she is the richest person on earth and comes home in glory, to find her mother beaten and her sister sold by the same brother. At the dinner thrown in honour of the planet's richest chief executive, that brother, now her employee, looks straight at her and calls her a whore.
