Lyra is wolfless and has spent seven years in the Wolfsbane pack, where Alpha Roland hurt her whenever he felt like it. During one of her attempts to run, she ends up spending a night with Alpha Alfred of Moonshadow, the strongest Alpha there is, and comes away carrying his child. Alfred takes her out of Roland's reach and brings her home to his own pack, and the two of them sign a Fake Luna contract to keep her safe there.
