Three wolves for one snake, and she never looked back.
Cora took in three wounded wolves and raised them, and the moment her sister Vivian walked in they could not look away, turning cold and rough and working on breaking her. She overhears them laughing at her, so she offers the trade. Silas the snake is ice cold and stays anyway, doing chores, standing guard. When her family forces an arranged marriage she plays along and goes out a window on the wedding day, and Silas tracks her to the airport, putting down two wolves who try to stop him.
