The story
Framed by her adopted sister, she does years in prison. Coming home is worse.
Ashley is the Langstons' real daughter, but Lilith, the girl they adopted, frames her, and Ashley spends years behind bars for it. When she's released nothing has changed. Her family still believes every lie Lilith tells, and so does Ethan, her fiance, and they all go on hurting her. Ethan even goes along with a fake wedding to Lilith just to keep her happy. On the day of that wedding Ashley makes it look as if she died in a fire, and she's gone for good. Only then does it hit them. The shock, the panic and the regret all come at once, and the daughter they refused to believe isn't coming back.
