The story
The house is boiling. Her stepbrother isn't helping.
Becca is stuck upstairs with her stepbrother during a sweltering summer after the air conditioning fails. Their mother is just downstairs, and they are supposed to be dealing with a repair. Instead, being so close makes their attraction harder to ignore. They keep pretending there is nothing between them while each glance and touch makes that less believable. The heat will pass. Crossing this line could change their family for good.
