The story
She bargained her life with a demon for his success. He handed her divorce papers.
She made a deal with a demon so the man she loved could rise all the way to the top. The terms were brutal. If he never came to love her back, she'd have to give up her life. Five years into the marriage her last hope that he'd warm to her is gone, because what he gives her is a divorce. The demon comes to take what it's owed. Then fate turns, and another woman gives up her own soul so that hers can be restored. Now she's back, and she has already paid with her life once for a man who never loved her.
