Elowen is the only rabbit shifter with purifying blood and she is meant to be Alpha King Kael's Luna, right up until he arrives with his snake mistress and instructs her to raise their child as a servant. She revokes the bond and offers herself to any shifter willing to take her. They all fear Kael, until the cursed and discarded Prince Rowan steps forward. Her blood suppresses his curse, the old prophecy moves to them, and Kael loses everything and comes back begging.
