The story

Hannah's mobster husband leaves her in freezing rain after deciding she is fat and worthless. Looking for shelter, she accepts an urgent overnight nanny job caring for a traumatized toddler. The estate belongs to Don Lucian Moretti, a feared New York mafia kingpin, and he treats her with the respect her husband never did. Her ex has moved on to a cruel social climber. By the time he comes begging, Hannah has a very different life, and no reason to return to the man who discarded her.
