The story
The world calls his Awakening a disgrace. He knows better.
Nate Ryder awakened the Thunder God, the rarest power on Earth, and told nobody. His father sold his health for the vial of serum that made it possible, and his mother has been paralysed for ten years and is the reason he keeps going. At school the elite bully Tyler crushes that serum and works with corrupt administrators to keep Nate out of the national tournament. So Nate hides what he is and turns every insult into training, and waits for the Federal Awakened Selection Tournament and the one fight Tyler is certain he cannot lose.
