The story
Every sixty years he forgets who he is.
Aidan Stein is the Eternal Lord Sovereign of Eternity Palace, and once in every sixty year cycle his memory and his mind are taken from him for a while. During one of those spells he ends up living alone in Vertania, until Jade Yule saves his life and marries him. Time passes. Then a Vertania aristocrat named Jack Foley sets his sights on Jade and sends his men after her husband. It is the worst mistake he could make, because the attack is exactly what brings Aidan's memories and his power flooding back.
