The story
He promised his dying wife he would never kill again.
Isaac Kane keeps that promise. He raises his daughter alone, scrapes by, and lets the world forget what he used to be, which was the deadliest man on it. Then a crime family takes the girl, and the promise becomes the thing standing between him and getting her back. He breaks it. What comes out of retirement is not a struggling father but the near mythic figure the wicked still have nightmares about, and he goes through the Russian mafia one man at a time.
