The story
Her family want her out of college and married off.
Clarisse is under pressure at home to drop her degree and find a husband. Then she helps an older woman who has been scammed, and she meets the woman's grandson Austin. He runs the Lloyd Group, and what he offers is money for a fake marriage that gives his grandmother the wedding she keeps asking for. Clarisse takes the arrangement but Austin never tells her who he actually is.
