Her alter ego Echo is good enough to take it too, if she can dethrone the reigning champion, Thorne. Here's the joke: offline, Thorne is Ethan, her TA, her best friend's older brother, and the cocky frat king she keeps butting heads with. He discovers her secret first and logs in to toy with her, then falls for her skill and fire instead. In the game they're unstoppable partners. Out of it, bitter rivals.
