Two years in an asylum. Then he married her.
Kesia Foster's father caused the death of Shawn Moore's father, and Shawn has made Kesia pay for it. He had her locked away in an asylum, where she was tortured and humiliated without end. Two years later he marries her. If she thought the wedding meant he was done with her, he sets her straight. To Shawn the marriage is just one more way for her to pay off what her family owes him. The sin was her father's, but Kesia is the one he'll keep punishing.
