The story

Henry Carter runs obstetrics at the hospital, and he discovers that Lydia Shaw, the woman about to marry into his family, has syphilis. Lydia's answer is to attack him, humiliate him, force him to his knees and smash his trophy. With her rich fiance protecting her, she terrorizes everyone around her. Henry bides his time. Then, at a birthday banquet and a hospital ceremony, he lays out her affairs, her infection and her lies for everyone to see. Lydia and her lover turn against each other, and it comes to murder. Lydia lands in prison, and justice finally catches up with her.
