The story
The farmhouse fireplace opens onto a dragon war.
Emily is a wealthy heiress being hunted by relatives who want her inheritance, so she runs to the family's rural farm and finds, by accident, that the fireplace connects to an otherworld ruled by dragons. She starts sending supplies through it to Kael, the metal dragon lord, helping him protect his people. Firewood and medicine turn into modern weaponry, the dragons start calling her the Dragon God, and the shape of their war changes step by step, along with her own future.
