Ella Davenport is the outcast of her family, and her father has arranged for her to marry a man nobody would choose. She goes to sign the papers and discovers she is already married to somebody else entirely. The husband she did not know she had is Cole McBride, a CEO who flatly refuses to believe any of it. His grandmother, meanwhile, takes to Ella immediately.
