Ivy is a high school sophomore with a remarkable voice, and a wealthy heiress who keeps that quiet because she wants friends who like her rather than her money. Vanessa becomes her best friend and then guilt trips her into singing as her voice double. Ivy only sees it for what it is when she catches her boyfriend with Vanessa, and turns to her childhood best friend Blake, the school's star quarterback.
