On her anniversary Amelia flies home to surprise Trevor and finds him dining with someone else. She leaves Boston, files for divorce using the prenup clause he wrote himself, and reclaims the identity she buried: Dr Amelia Voss, co founder of Longmoor Labs. As she rebuilds her career and fights for her daughter, Trevor's world falls apart. She wins sole custody, most of the assets and a new life, and by the time he sees who she really is, it is far too late.
