The story

Eight years after he left, Ella is a single mother being pushed off a roof, and something flying catches her. She wakes up with Vincent beside her, insisting it was not him, insisting his enemies are coming for her and that she has to move in with him where he can watch her. The man who broke her is suddenly the one keeping her alive, and the more she watches him, the less human he seems.
