The story
In his last life he was weak. This time he picks villain.
Jason Hayes comes back knowing exactly what being nice cost him, and he is finished being nice. He goes from waiter to king of the underworld, working through every bully in his way and outplaying the most powerful people in the city, including a crime lord's father in law. His rule is simple, which is that touching what belongs to him ends badly. The brutal part he learns on the way up is that the world only makes room for people who refuse to move.
