The story
His little girl doesn't want a new mother. Natalia refuses to give up on her.
Her grandmother and sister push Natalia into marrying Leonardo, a rancher raising a daughter who cannot speak. Lilly rejects her, and a hostile neighbor makes it harder for Natalia to settle in. Then she discovers that the neighbor has been abusing the child. Protecting Lilly slowly earns her trust and gives Natalia a family she hadn't expected to love. But trouble at school and hostility from both families threaten their new life. Being accepted is only the start of the fight to keep them safe.
