The story
They see a stray dog. Anubis has left a very different future.
A discarded dog inherits the legacy of Anubis and grows stronger by devouring everything in its path. Protecting its master means fighting villains and facing a serpent powerful enough to destroy the world. Each battle takes the animal further from the weak stray everyone dismissed, until even becoming a god is within reach.
