The story
She went for tree sap. She came back with Hades.
Elena, daughter of the Lord of Yalkreon, sets out for sacred tree sap to lift a deadly ice curse from her mother, and on the way she rescues Hades, King of the Underworld, who decides then and there she will be his queen. Her fiance betrays her, and her stepmother and greedy father sell her as a sacrifice to the Lord of the Frostlands. The ceremony is already under way when Hades comes down on the lot of them.
