He's Lord of the Burning Realm, under a curse that has him burning alive for a hundred years, and her touch turns out to be the only thing that puts out the fire. After one night with him she's carrying twins. Five years on, Jodi returns to the Dragon Lands to find her daughters, and with her mark gone and her face changed, nobody knows her. Melody has filled Nick's head with lies, and Jodi's own family come at her again and again. When Nick finally learns the truth, he realizes his fated mate is the woman he wronged.
