A stranger stole her identity
Somebody else is walking around as Freya D'Lore, and the real one is running out of time to do anything about it. She is humiliated and insulted and left watching a lifetime of her own hard work go down the drain in someone else's hands. Proving which of them is the real one is the only thing she has left.
