The story

Alpha Declan is played by Olivia, his brother's treacherous widow, into caging Evelyn for three days. He tells himself it is a lesson. It is Olivia's plan to take the Luna's place. Evelyn begs him to save her and he refuses to believe a word of it, sure she is performing. He gets his proof when he sees the bodies of his Luna and their pup with his own eyes.
